FNC is honored to have been invited to be the coalition co-coordinator alongside the Philadelphia Office for Public Safety to assist in the writing and implementation of the Philadelphia Reentry Coalition’s (PRC) strategic plan titled “Home For Good.”
Executive Summary
Home for Good is the Philadelphia Reentry Coalition’s 5-‐year countywide collective action plan to improve reentry in Philadelphia. In all, more than a hundred stakeholders met over the course of six months to develop this plan.
About the PRC
The Coalition formed in 2012, when leadership from the federal, state and local levels representing the judiciary, corrections, probation, defense, prosecution and other key public stakeholders met to address a growing concern around reentry coordination efforts in Philadelphia. In March of 2015, the Coalition merged efforts with Philly PRISM, a collective impact initiative formed in 2014 with similar goals of improving Philadelphia’s reentry systems through stakeholder collaboration. The Coalition now includes over 20 county, 6 federal, and 3 state agencies, 4 universities, and over a dozen non-profit organizations.

- Comments from Coalition incorporated and recirculated to Steering Committee by 7/22
- Steering Committee Final Plan Approval 7/27
- Implementation Team convenes July/August 2015 and supports creation of all the other teams throughout the summer/fall
- Circulation to Criminal Justice Advisory Board (CJAB) for review in July & August 2015 with anticipated adoption by September 2015
